we heart a £ saving bridesmaid suggestion! x
plus this shrug could tie everyone in to the same theme, although it doesn't work with the above dresses:
although I tried all of the above on, I can not vouch for the fit being great, and as long as you're not too fussed about the fabric quality they could be a good option, but you do get what you pay for etc, etc. adding some great shoes, hair accesories, or silk ribbons would definitely make all three dresses look more expensive. I think it's a good option to consider if you can't decide which friends you just can't leave out!

in future posts I'll be suggesting other ideas for your weddings- I hope you find this useful! x

we heart WIT wedding wednesdays! x
every wednesday, Laura Fantacci of Wearing It Today posts a wedding wednesday special! I'm so excited to keep up to date with Laura's wedding plans and see how things are coming along. I just know that her day is going to be incredibly stylish and beautiful. I can't wait until Laura posts the pictures!
Today, very sweetly, Laura included me in a post of her favourite readers dresses! (top right) I'm thrilled to have had my picture posted and it's such a compliment from Red fashion editor Laura who's always super chic! I'd recommend signing up to Laura's daily emails to see what she's wearing daily. I'm always intrigued to see what a fashion editor wears to work as is half of our office- we all love WIT!!

we heart a little bit more Vera!
we heart anthropologie's wedding gowns! x
($2,600)
($2,400)- I think this is my fav.
($600)
(dotty birdcage veil $160)
in keeping with anthropologie's rooted spirit, the collection of both bridal and bridemaids dresses are unique in their offering the modern day bride 'heirloom' quality gowns which are vintage in inspiration and palette. they are quite original, quirky, and a little theatrical - if you didn't know any better, they could well be taken as vintage one-offs, which is the point. everyone is looking for new ways to be different and express themselves on their wedding day- it's the one day you can truly make a statement about who you are, your tastes and how unique you can be. I think this collection just about fits the bill!
look at how stunning these bridesmaids gown are and just how detailing they are! You could easily wear one as a guest or for any other fancy occasions!
indigo mist gown
gin fizz shift dress
very helpfully for those brides still stuck on the their dress theme and need a little guidance, there's a mini pop quiz to point you in the right direction- are you a 'nostalgic romantic' or 'lady with a twist'?!
I'm pretty gutted that this collection wasn't around when I was looking- they've really thought everything through inclusive of shoes and accessories- well done to Anthropologie for such an impressive first season!
At the moment they aren't shipping to the UK which is a shame but personally I would make every attempt to get my hands on these gowns!! x

we heart being cheered up by sunny memories!

we heart some love from london!
smythson of bond street
wedding idea: neon lighting/bulb novelty signage as a focal point for photographs. Could be completely spectacular in the right setting. Image the above heart above an enormous fireplace in an old country manor?! It would definitely be a talking point! I would have loved to have done this at ours. sadly budget dicatated otherwise.!
mulberry
wedding idea: mulberry tied in their window cut-out cardboard dollies theme to their catwalk invitations (if I remember rightly?...) which were minature versions. wouldn't this be cute with a bride and groom with writing on the reverse?! love it! oooh, maybe I'll try that idea for a future post...
the new mui mui store on bond street where the old ungaro store used to be. it's looking pretty shiny and rodeo drive to me, but an improvement on the old store no doubt!
I love the giant acrylic heart earrings hanging in each window- tres Pat Butcher!! If you can see from the photo, each heart displayed the newest accesories collection including the above acrylic poppy story...
wedding idea: bridesmaid accessories? A rather expensive option if you've got more than one but I quite like the large poppy headband for a standout look! I'm sure topshop or accessorize will have their own version of this soon enough, or if you like the bracelet, try lela rose for similar.
